Reward and sticker charts

Tips for making a chart stick

Start small: 3 to 5 steps or one behavior at a time.
Put the chart where the routine happens, at your child’s eye level.
Give the sticker right away. A sticker at bedtime for something done at breakfast feels like forever to a 3 year old.
Never take stickers away. A missed day is just an empty space.
